A grain of sand that goes a long way…

Even before I started working at Doctors Care it was my heart’s desire to make a difference in someone’s life. Working at Doctors Care has allowed this to come true. I will never forget the first time I had the opportunity to make a difference at work.  I was helping the grandmother of a two-month old, and was able to give her baby clothes, bottles and all sorts of supplies she did not have. It brought tears to my eyes and comfort to my heart to know  my contributions made such a great difference to this family.  Sometimes the things that we do seem as small as a grain of sand on the beach, but this experience taught me that even the most insignificant gesture can have great impact.

I have learned of so many people’s misfortunes by working here, and seeing that has taught me to be humble and grateful for all that I have. Not only is it a very rewarding job, but it has also taught me the importance of giving. I can honestly say that working at Doctors Care has made me a better person all around.
