Partner Hospitals
Swedish Medical Center
Porter Adventist Hospital
Littleton Adventist Hospital
Sky Ridge Medical Center
Parker Adventist Hospital
These five South Metro Denver hospitals and medical centers generously donate inpatient and outpatient services including those from their laboratories, pharmacies and a residency program. Last year, they donated more than $15 million in health care to Doctors Care patients. Doctors Care educates uninsured patients visiting our partner hospitals about how to use medical care and the emergency room appropriately and provides them with a medical home. In addition, chief administrators of these five partners serve on our board of directors and encourage their physicians to participate in the Doctors Care program as a means to provide a wide range of affordable specialty care to uninsured patients.
Community Partners
Serving the community since 1975, Community First Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life in the seven-county metropolitan community. They use their resources to fund vital community initiatives, support nonprofit organizations, and assist individuals with charitable giving. In addition, they help donors support charitable causes through planned giving and Donor Advised Funds, and by offering grants, fund management and fundraising education.
Community Shares of Colorado is Colorado’s community-giving fund. Partnering with more than 100 local nonprofits and thousands of Colorado employees, each year they prove that every dollar makes a difference.
GivingFirst.org is an extension of the Community First Foundation, and is a program of their Nonprofit Preservation Initiative, which was launched in 2004 to preserve the future of Colorado nonprofits. Their goal is to make donating to local charities an easier and more informed experience for donors. By offering comprehensive, objective and up-to-date information about nonprofits, they have helped to heighten awareness online, and to raise over $20 million for over 900 Colorado nonprofit organizations.
