Mary Newell, R.PH

Mary has been a pharmacist for over 50 years, with 40 of those years working for King Soopers pharmacy. Born and raised in Wray, Colorado, she graduated with a bachelor's in Pharmacy from the University of Colorado. Mary is very active in the pharmaceutical scene, serving as president for the Colorado Pharmacist Society, Secretary-Treasurer, and now president for the Colorado Professional Employees, and served on the board for Peer Assistance Services for over 15 years. Along with her husband, she occasionally works as a pharmacist at her brother’s independently owned pharmacy in Wray, Colorado, Foltmer Drug. Mary has been married to her husband, Jim, for over 50 years and has four children, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
